Lura Belle Snyder, of Hockingport, OH passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born July 2, 1927 in Camden on the Gaulley, WV daughter of the late Roy and Sylvia Richards Rose. She was a seamstress and attended Vanderhoof Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda and Paul Holsinger; grandchildren, Tim Teresa Holsinger and Paula Jason Holsinger; great-grandson, Zach Holsinger; 2 step-great-granddaughters, Amanda and Tasha Jones; 2 granddaughters from a previous marriage, Trina McCoy and Crystal Barber; a sister, Betty Eddie Murrey; and several nieces, nephews and her church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel McCoy, her husband, Jake Snyder; and a brother, Ray.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Vanderhoof Baptist Church, Coolville, OH with Pastor Craig Holler officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Hockingport, OH.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 at the church.
