Lucy Blanche Roberts, 83, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 3, 1923 in Calhoun County, WV, daughter of the late Mellie and Inda Richards Parsons. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reedsville Fellowship Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Ronzel and Billie Lou Roberts, Dale and Beverly Roberts and Kenny and Lisa Roberts; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Dian and Fred Bise, Loretta and Tom Smith and Tina and Mike Matheny; Grandchildren, Rick Becky Roberts and their children, Whitney, Britney, Mikayla, Levi and Luke; Sherry Daniel Ahart and their children, Jordan and Katie; Scott Anita Roberts and their children, Brooke, Ashley, Bradyn and Tori; Tommy Smith, Terry James Reed and their children, Jaimie, Hunter and Wyatt; Joshua Smith and his son, Joshua; WendyKevin Davidson and their children, Austin, Wesley, Devin and Alexis; Therese Blair and her children, Isabella and Michael; Chris Jenny Roberts and their daughter, Alanna and soon to arrive, Baby Roberts; Kenny Joe Savannah, Kelly Roberts, Justin, Josh Christopher Garlow, Madison Bailey Roberts, Joshua and Ashley Rowe and Audrey Rowe; Amanda Jimmie Putman and Baby Putman soon to arrive; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brice Roberts; a son, Larry Roberts; a daughter-in-law, Sharolyn Roberts; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Russ Carson officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Hockingport, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
