Luanne Counts, 48, of Kingsbury Road, Pomeroy, OH passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, OH.
She was born March 4, 1959 in Mason, WV, daughter of George and Louise Staats of Tuppers Plains, OH and the late Peggy Persinger Staats. She was a cook at Krider Kountry Kitchen in Racine.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Kelly Counts; a daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Jeremy Everson of Racine; 4 grandchildren, Devin, Brendan, Hailey and Landon; 4 brothers, Ronnie, Randy and Barry Staats of Pomeroy and Dean Staats of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Debbie Leibig of Jacksonville, FL; 5 step-sisters; and 2 step-brothers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Persinger.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, Jan 16, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Eddie Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Pomeroy, OH.
