Lou Ann Burkhammer

Lou Ann Burkhammer, 53, of Columbus, OH passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at the Kobacker House in Columbus after a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 20, 1962 in Parkersburg, WV daughter of Emma Jean Holcomb Burkhammer and the late Dorsey Burkhammer.
Lou Ann was a 1980 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University. She has touched the lives of many individuals over the years through her counseling in social work.
Including her mother, Emma Jean Burkhammer, she is survived by two sisters, Deborah and Donald Lorentz and Lori and Michael Thomas; a niece, Alissa Lorentz; four nephews, Zach Lorentz, Brandon Thomas, Bryan Thomas and Shane Thomas; an aunt, Helen Kaylor; two special friends, Robert Ferguson and Tali Blaha.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dorsey Burkhammer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 5-7 P.M.
