Lloyd Brooks
COOLVILLE—Lloyd Brooks, 77, of Coolville, OH, passed away Wednesday, Dec 23, 2020 at the Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department in Pomeroy, OH.
He was born Sept. 30, 1943 in Belpre, OH, son of the late Paul E. and Mildred V. Pullins Brooks. He was a member of the Alfred United Methodist Church, where he was once a youth group leader and a former Cub Scout Master for Pack 235. He was a retired machinist and former manager of Plant 1 & 2 for O.Ames after 37 years and loved wood working. Lloyd was a family man and always present during family outings. He was his grandchildrens #1 Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Ann Carsey Brooks; 3 sons, Kevin and Marta Brooks, James Brooks and Robert and Katrina Brooks; daughter, Debbie and Jeremy Barber; grandchildren, Hallie, Heather, Aaron, Noah, Zachary, Adam, Rachel, Andrew, Tyler, Katlyn, Allison, Melissa, Ashley, Jenna, Kayla, and Wyatt; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Roger, Gerald and Keith and 3 sisters, Joann, Judy and Jan.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020 at the Brooks Family Cemetery, 42551 Tucker Road, Coolville, OH, with Pastor John Frank officiating.
Visitation will be held Saturday, from 5-7 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
