BELPRE—Leeman Alltop Jr. (CALHOUN), 75, of Belpre formerly of Coolville, passed away due to a short battle with cancer.
Calhoun was the son of Leeman Alltop Sr. and Hattie Mollohan Alltop. Calhoun graduated from Carthage Troy High School with the Class of 67. He had been employed at Kriss Hot Spot in Parkersburg for the past ten years where he had numerous friends.
He is survived by two sons, Charles of Nelsonville, Ohio and Edward of Evarts, Kentucky; two sisters, Karen Spurlock Duley (Clyde) of Belpre, Ohio and Betty McDonald of Coolville, Ohio and a brother, Ed McKown (Carol) of Stow, Ohio. He is also survived by four special friends of fifty years, Raymond Williams, Larry Doctorman, Clarence Barker and Karen McKown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Garrell McKown of Barberton, Ohio; a sister, Gwendolyn Sumpter of Normantown, WV and a nephew, William (Billy) Spurlock in 2009 of Coolville, Ohio.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care, especially Tracy and Brooke.
Per Calhoun’s request, there will be no service or visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to White Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio.
