LaVerne Bocanelli

 COOLVILLE-- LaVerne Bocanelli passed away on August 16, 2024, at Arcadia Nursing Center in Coolville, OH, after an extended illness. 

 Born April 5, 1950, LaVerne grew up in Cleveland, OH, graduating in 1968 from John Marshall High School. She attended Hope College in Holland MI, where she majored in history and graduated in 1972. LaVerne worked for many years as an interpretive guide at Independence Park in Philadelphia, PA and subsequently moved on to work in banking and nursing homes before retiring to Belpre, OH to be closer to family. LaVerne loved mystery novels, the Cleveland Indians/Guardians baseball team and her dogs. She is survived by her Chihuahuas, Bella and Michelle, who are now living the good life in California.

 There will be no visitation or funeral service.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
