Stewart - Larry D. Moehlenkamp, 71, of Stewart, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after a long illness.
He was born in Mount Vernon, Illinois on April 1, 1944 to the late Wilbert H. and Evalyn L. Moehlenkamp. Larry was the owner/manager of Stewart Auto Repair in Stewart, Ohio until his illness prevented it. He was a beloved member of the community and his church family at Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Athens, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; one son Larry (Laura) Moehlenkamp Jr.; one daughter Debbie (Greg) Sibley; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Joey, Dalton, Makenzee, Nicole, Hunter, Kristen, Karlee and Kelsey; three sisters, Gladys Davis, Wilberta (Robert) Clark, Debra (Michael) Hughes; a special niece Beth (Tim) McClure; special great nieces, Katie and Emma; a special friend Roy Smith and other dear relatives and friends.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sapp; a brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Rita Moehlenkamp; a brother Everett Lee Moehlenkamp; a sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Clifford Weatherford; brother-in-law Charles Davis and his mother-in-law Mary Lou Kelley.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, March 11, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Deacon John Pauley officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery in Stewart, Ohio.
