Pomeroy - Kenda Kay Carsey, 53, of Pomeroy, died Monday, January 29, 2024 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
Born March 31, 1970 in Gallipolis, Ohio, she is the daughter of Kenneth Lewis and Sheila Ann Clark Carsey of Middleport. Kenda was a 1988 graduate of Meigs and worked at Meigs County Jobs and Family Services for many years. She loved to fish, hunt and cook.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her son Seth White (Morgan Grinstead); her brother, Kenneth Ryan (Emory) Carsey; her uncle Jim and aunt Beth Clark; a special cousin Melissa; he Fiance Ricky and a special aunt, Weezie.
Preceded in death by her uncle John Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Food and fellowship will follow Immediately after the services at the Ewing-Schwarzel Family Center adjacent to the funeral home in Pomeroy. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home, 106 Mulberry Ave. Pomeroy, Ohio 45769.
