Jackson - June I. Reynolds, 69, of Jackson, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Rockland Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Belpre after a four month battle with cancer.
Born July 8, 1953, in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of Thomas Reynolds Jr. and the late Virginia Hulderman Reynolds. June was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was an excellent seamstress, loved quilting, crafting and a NASCAR race. She enjoyed her vacations at the beach, reading, and most of all, a nice glass of wine. She began her professional career at G. C. Murphy in Parkersburg in 1971 and moved to Jackson, Ohio in 1978 where she eventually became the general manager there. Upon G. C. Murphys closing, she worked at several pharmacy’s in Chillicothe. She would later return to Jackson and worked at The Medicine Shop. Upon its closing she went to work at the Ohio Valley Bank from where she retired.
Besides her father, she is survived by her sister, Patty (Charlie) Ball; a special aunt, Jane Root; three special friends, Linda Carpenter, Rhonda Baker and Wanda Murray; her two four legged friends, Little Guy and Maggie.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her companion canine, Scout.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
