Joseph Edwin Godwin, 60, of Coolville, OH, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, July 15, 2013 after a battle with cancer.
He was born March 5, 1953 in Aiken SC, son of the late Joseph B. and Vivian C. Cook Godwin. He was a 1970 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and a drywall finisher.
He is survived by a daughter, Melinda; 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Kayden and Morgan; a sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Steve Varner; nephews, Tony Varner and Jason Godwin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard and Donnie Godwin.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Tony Varner officiating.
There will be no visitation.
