Joseph C. Bartlett, 79, of Athens, OH passed away Tueday, Dec. 25, 2012 at the Chillicothe V.A. Hospital.
He was born Jan. 28, 1933 in Athens, OH son of the late Byron and Nellie Halbirt Bartlett.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Connie and Jim Ford of Coolville and Rhonda and Dan Williams of Guysville; 2 brothers, Roger and Norma Bartlett of Albany and Charlie Bartlett of Athens; 5 grandchildren, Bryan and Kristi Ford, Candace and Dean Dibble, Joni Williams and Fiance', Stephen Schloss; Denny Williams and Dustin Williams; 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Grace Ford and Emily Dibble.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Bartlett.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at the South Canaan Baptist Church with Pastor Monte McCune officiating. Burial will be in the South Canaan Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
