Johnnie John Boy G. Johnson, son of Leota and the late Emerson Johnson was born August 23, 1954 in Pomeroy, Ohio. He departed this life October 6, 2007 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 53 years.
He is survived by his mother, Leota; two brothers, Ronnie Johnson his twin and Ray Kathy Johnson; and a sister, Sandra Folmer; five nephews, William, Jarrod, Charles, Chad and Robert; four great nieces, Nicole, Saelym, Kaden and Kieran.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. I would like to acknowledge special persons in Johnnie's life--Donna Miller, Orville Ray Hill, Leonard Hill and Joey Bush.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emerson; a brother, Berdell Bubby and a niece Trina Johnson.
Johnnie worked 20 years for Ben-Tom at putting in guardrail along the highway on the east coast his earlier years and later he worked in the surrounding fields. He lived at home with his mother and brother. He was a loving son, a good brother and a great friend. Johnnie never met a stranger. He was very outspoken and at the sametime very funny. He was a member of the Shade River Masonic Lodge #453 at Chester, Ohio.
Our loss is heavens gain. We will truly miss you. Amen
Services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, Ohio with Rev. Norman Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery, Long Bottom, Ohio.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 6-8 P.M.. where masonic services will be conducted at 8 P.M.
