John A. Perdas

John A. Perdas 68 of 2752 Campbell Street Coolville Ohio. Died March 7th 2016, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. Born June 24, 1947in Johnstown PA. He was the son of the late John Anthony and Mary E. Gembinski Perdas. He was a graduate of Ferndale High school in Johnstown PA. He retired from Franklin County Prison in Chambersburg, PA. Where he was a correctional officer for 20 years. 1983 –2003 After he retired he moved to Ohio to spend the rest of his years with his two beautiful daughters and their families. Mary [Doug] Miller of Pomeroy, OH . Lisa (Chris) Catlett of Reedsville, OH. Grandchildren Haley (Kyle) Sargent, Corbett & Layna Catlett, Noah & Megan Miller. Two Great Grandchildren Addalynn & Lorelei Sargent and His best friend Kati Lu his dog. Other surviving family includes brother Henry (Laura) Perdas of Wheelersburg, OH; brother Frank (Jackie) Perdas of Shippensburg, PA; and sister Marian Perdas (Larry Parvin) of Hermiston, OR; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please donate to St Jude’s. Per his wishes he will be cremated and a private family service will be held in Johnstown PA.
