John Knisley
On Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 with heavy hearts we said goodbye to our dad, husband, grandpa and best friend.
He was born July 21, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV son of the late William Sr. and Sylvia Mae Deeter Knisley.
He leaves behind his wife, Nives Tubbe Knisley, a daughter, Ronda and Jack Stone; 3 sons, Ron and Suzanne Eddy, Jason and Polly Knisley and John and Jamie Knisley; 4 sisters, Alice and Larry Dillon, Carol and Mike Arnott, Emma Jean and Ray Fossett and Dorothy Birt Kenny; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Stone Chris, Tiffany Stone Levi, Nicole Stone, Caden Eddy, Colton Eddy and Alex and Sidney Knisley; and special friends, Wanda and Paul Holsinger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Knisley Jr.
A network of friends who supported, prayed and cheered him on plus wonderful and selfless staff, doctors and nurses. Without their efforts and caring would have made it impossible for his survival the past five years.
A memorial service will be held 4 P.M., Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at Coolville United Methodist Church with Revs. Kathryn Riley, George Horner and Helen Kline officiating.
Friends may call at the church from noon until 3:30 P.M.
