John Ray Jeffers

July 1, 1961 — August 19, 2018

Glouster- John Ray Jeffers, 57 of Glouster, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Born July 1, 1961, he was the son of Oris Ray and the late Lillian Mae Kochis Jeffers.
 
John was a loving man who loved to collect coins and baseball cards. He was an adolescent diabetic, though he never let his illness interfere with his love to hunt and fish. He was loved by all his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
 
Besides his father, he is survived by his brother, James (Remyann) Jeffers; sister, June “Bug” Jeffers; special cousins, Robert Bing and Randy Collins; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 
Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Packard, nephew, Aaron Packard, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
 
A funeral service will held at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 1PM with Fr. Don Horak officiating. Burial will follow in Jeffers Cemetery.
