John Lodwick
John Edward Lodwick age 87 born on April 22, 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio to father, Harry Wrigley Lodwick and mother, Lulu Clara Becker, passed doing what he loved, working in his yard, on Monday, October 11, 2010 at his home in West Jefferson, Ohio. His enduring love and support will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Nicholas Lodwick.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Mae Lodwick; grandsons, Brian Edward Lodwick and Jeffrey Steven Lodwick; a brother, Harry Lodwick; and many other extended family members and very dear friends.
John Married his high school sweetheart, Eloise Buckley on November 21, 1943 and they built a wonderful life together in West Jefferson, Ohio. John and Eloise were both very family oriented and always very supportive of each other and the rest of their family.
When John was young, he went into the Air Force and was always proud of serving his country. After his military sevice, he and Eloise learned to prosper during tough economic times with lots of love and hard work. These times taught them lasting values that were lovingly passed on to bring great success in life to his children and grandchildren, and they are eternally grateful for everything he has done for them.
The funeral service will be held Monday morning, October 18 at 11 am at the White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio followed by a graveside service at the Torch Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
