John Eugene Clark, 62, of Middleport passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta.
Born February 10, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jack Lewis and Grace Swisher Clark. John attended Meigs High School and enjoyed fishing. He spent most of his career as a painter in and around Parkersburg and Marietta.
He is survived by two daughters Melissa and Mandy Clark; a brother James (Beth) Clark; a sister Sheila (Kenny) Clark; four grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Wells Cemetery in Pageville.

Arrangements are by the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio.
