LITTLE HOCKING-- John E. Bowman, 71, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1946 in Coolville, OH, son of the late William Thaddeus and Dorothy Brawley Bowman. He was employed at Belpre Drywall for 40 years.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Craddock Bowman; a son, Bill and Melony Bowman; a daughter, Tammie and John Bailey; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Karly, Caitlin, Cameron, Dylan, Dustin and Taylor; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Carol Lofty, Doris and Richard Sallee, Betty Ludwig and Bonnie and Don Buck and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary Bowman and Harry Bowman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial will follow in the Torch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, from 5-7 P.M.
