Middleport - Joey Dean Stanley, 64, of Pomeroy, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Born December 6, 1957 in Kanawha City, WV, he was the son of the late Everett and Leona Wilson Stanley. Joey loved baseball and was an avid outdoorsman and hunter,
He is survived by two daughters, Anna Shoaf and Alaina Stanley; three brothers, Gary Stanley, Gordon Stanley and Stan Stanley; two sisters, Martie Marcum and Sandra Rife; two grandchildren, Rhesa Yank and Harlynn Foster and a future grandson Jaxson David Dean Priddy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Arlene Smith.
