JoAnn Calaway
CHESTER--Elizabeth JoAnn Pullins Calaway, 60, of Chester, Ohio passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department in Pomeroy.
She was born Aug. 4, 1957 in Athens, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bill and Jane Burke Pullins. JoAnn loved being on the farm with Bobby, the fair and being a 4-H advisor for the Meigs Creek 4-H Club for 44 years. She was previously employed by the Eastern Local School District.
JoAnn is survived by her best friend and husband of 44 years, Robert Allen Calaway; two sons, Robert (Carrie) and Jeromee (Tracy) Calaway; two grandchildren, Maddy and Guy Calaway; a sister, Patty (Dana) Aldridge; sisters-in-law, Shirley Hawk, Linda (Robert) Boggs, Brenda (Rodney) Smith; brothers-in-law, Warren, Ernie (Teresa) and Charles Calaway and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Faye; a brother-in-law, Roger Hawk and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Guy and Annie Calaway.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Meigs County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 P.M.
