ATHENS - Jesse Henderson, Jr., 72 of Athens, passed away February 5, 2019 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Born February 26, 1946 in Cincinnati, he was the son of the late Jesse, Sr. and Margaret Carlton Henderson.

A caring man, Jesse was best known for his unending love toward his four children.

He is survived by his children, Machalla Henderson, Jesse (Amanda) Henderson, Dakota Henderson, and Heidi Henderson; and three grandchildren, William Simerly, Hayley Henderson, and Aiden Henderson.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his dear neighbor and friend, David.

Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where cremation will take place with a memorial service on a later date.
