Long Bottom - Jerry Richards, 68, of Long Bottom, died peacefully Sunday, March 20, 2016 with his family surrounding him.
Born November 29, 1947 in Parkersburg, he was he son of the late Charles and Nora Stallings Richards. Jerrry was a ember of the Army National Guards.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Rockhold Richards; two daughters, Amanda (Jesse) Morris and Becky (Tim) Amick; three grandchildren, Lacey, Amber, Christopher; two sisters Bev (Dale) Gordon and Jan (Paul) Matheny; a half sister Judy (Ron) Barr; one brother Steve Richards; three special friends Gene Westfall, Gary Jackson, and Bob Haynes and several nieces and nephews.
He loved his dog Jake who he called his baby.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Jerry Wayne and one sister Sheila Dodge
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Parkersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at whiteschwarzelfh.com
