BELPRE—Jerry Lee Plaugher, 81, of Belpre, OH, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at Camden-Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.
He was born June 13, 1938 in Union County Liberty, IN, a son of the late Charles W. and Mary Ann Adams Plaugher.
He was retired from the WVDOH with 24 years of service and a member of Hope FWB Church in Parkersburg.
He is survived by a special friend, Kaye Jett and Kaye’s daughter, Jill Jett both of Little Hocking, OH; a sister-in-law, Judy Plaugher of Eaton, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma M. Moss Plaugher; his second wife, Mary V. Patterson Plaugher; a sister, Doris J. Crutcher and a brother, Paul R. Plaugher.
Services will be held at 1 P.M., Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Ed Beaty, Martin Corbin and Kenny Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the Torch Cemetery in Torch, OH.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, from noon until time of service.
