Jeri Barr

Jeri L. Barr,79, of Belpre, OH, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at her residence.

 She was born June 28, 1945, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, daughter of the late Fred J. and Virginia Nordquist Smith. Jeri was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1212 in Parkersburg, WV and AMVETS Post 76 in Athens, OH. She loved to cook, find new recipes, boating, camping at the river and spending time with her grandkids. She was a certified Google doctor.

 Jeri is survived by her husband of 31 years, Charles “Leroy” Barr; 2 daughters, Denise (Erica) Ramsey and Jeanine (Jon) Hurley; stepson, Chuck (Delta) Barr; stepdaughter, Melissa McClain (Justin Pinkerton); 9 grandchildren, Drew, Jeremy, Connor, Brayden, Vaneta, Zack, Cameron, Brett and Tyler; 8 great-grandchildren, Carson, Noah, Joey, Addy, Taylor, Jaiden, Khloe and Kinsley; 5 sisters, Margie, Nellie, Kathy, Marsha and Colleen; 2 brothers, Ted and Richard.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry M. Williams; 2 sisters, Nancy and Wanda and a brother, Dwayne.

 Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M., Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating. Burial will be held in the Barlow Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.

 Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, from 4 P.M. until time of service.
