Jeffrey M. Root, 22, of Coolville, OH passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at Ohio State University Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1991 in Marietta, OH son of Robert Root of Coolville, OH and Traci Ralph Shumar of Belpre, OH. Jeffrey was an avid hunter and fisherman and was the life of every party.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Evon Root of Belpre; his paternal grandpa, Bob Root of Coolville; maternal grandparents, Kristin Stewart and Larry and Sandy Rooks; a great-grandpa, Paul Stewart; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandma, Rosemary Root; maternal great-grandma, Helen Stewart; and his great-grandparents, Jessie and Ernestine Rooks.
Services will be held at 1 P.M., Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor George Horner officiating. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
