Jeffrey “L.J." Adams

June 11, 2020 — January 3, 2023

Jeffrey "L.J." Adams, 2, beloved Son, Grandson, Brother, Great-grandson, and Nephew, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital. Born June 11, 2020 in Parkersburg, WV, he was the son of Jeffrey Adams and Megan Koehler.

Though LJ only had two years of life with us, he had an everlasting impact on every person he touched. His infectious smile & laugh would light up an entire room and he gave the most loving hugs a two year old could give. Cocomelon was his all-time favorite cartoon to watch though he loved playing with his siblings even more.

LJ often would be found sitting on the front porch steps waiting for his daddy to come home from work and when he did, he would smile ear to ear as he gave him a hug and took his hat off his head (and would later hide his truck keys from him so he would stay longer). While his daddy would work, LJ loved to cook with his mommy in the kitchen and go on various Cocomelon & dancing adventures with his siblings and best friends. Some adventures would often become mischievous, though--it was not uncommon to find some broken eggs in the fridge after an adventure!

Cuddles with his mommy were the highlight of his day (and his mommy's). He had the most warm & tender cuddle that would melt his mommy's heart every evening as she would run her hands through his thick head of hair and he played on her phone. There was no love deeper than the love LJ had for his family--and his family had for him.

LJ left a special memory with all his friends and family he left behind. Whether it was building forts, playing video games, video calls with family, or sleepovers, his life was the best two years he could have wanted. Whenever a twinkle is seen in the sky, we will always know it's LJ looking over us with his big smile.

Besides his loving parents, LJ is survived and deeply missed by his paternal grandparents Cindy & Steven Kelly, Jeffrey Robert Adams; maternal grandmother, Nana Bernice Myer; paternal great-grandmother, Nana Jean Thomas; sisters Alyssa Brown, Savanna Adams, Madison Akonom, Natalie Bollack; brothers Tristan and Cameron Adams, Jason Eshleman; great-grandmother Nana Jean Thomas; uncle, Chad Adams.
