James Thurl Nutter

Reedsville - James Thurl Nutter, 73, of Reedsville, finished his race on June 30, 2017 and is now in the presence of the Lord.
He was born September 22, 1943 in Arnoldsburg, WV, son of the late Maxine Nutter Husk. James was a member of the Stiversville New Hope Fellowship in Portland, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Mae Deel Nutter; one son, James (Jody) Nutter II; two daughters, Melissa (Bryan) Dailey and Ruth (Jeff) Bissell; eleven grandchildren, Nicole, Jade, Joelan, Jurnee, Dustin, Bryannah, Latham, Kevin, Maelynnah, Dalton and Hannah; one sister, Debbie (Doug) Kemper; one brother, Randle Husk; one niece, Angel Husk; three nephews Joey Garrity, Randle Husk and Jimmy Husk and many more family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine (James) Husk and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be at noon, Monday, July 3, 2017 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Melissa and Bryan Dailey officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00AM till the time of service on Monday. A meal will follow the service at the Coolville United Methodist Church where all friends are welcome.
