Jack Gardner, 79, of Somerset, OH passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at New Lexington Care & Rehab.
He was born Aug. 4, 1931 in Columbus, OH son of the late John Edwin and Gladys Rose Cochran Gardner.
He is survived by a special friend, Margaret Washburn of Columbus; a brother, Russell Gardner of Columbus; 2 half brothers, Ralph Gardner of Glouster and John Gardner of Stockport; 2 half sisters, Pat McKee of Glouster and Lula Bell Fitzgerald of Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 half brothers, Bill Gardner and Joe Smith; a half sister, Linda McKee; and a special aunt and uncle Nina and Martin Henry.
Services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Katherine Riley officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon until time of service.
