Howard G. Simpson, II

STEWART—Howard Gale Simpson, II, 58, of Stewart, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 30th, 2017.

He was born September 2nd, 1959 in New London, Connecticut, son of Howard Gale and RoseMarie Blazier Simpson. He co-owned his own building company, L&S Enterprises, for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking for family and friends.  Howard was generous and loving and would always help someone in need. He was a devoted and caring husband, father and grandfather and his memory will be cherished by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Simpson; mother RoseMarie Simpson; mother in law Maxine Mobbs; one son, Shaun (Hayley) Simpson; two daughters, Courtney (Buddy) Dunfee and Katie (Jade Kieffer) Simpson; one brother, John (Carol) Simpson; one sister, Mary (Nick) Dailey; two brothers in law, Jim Jr. (Fiona) Mobbs, Dee (Stephanie) Mobbs; one sister in law Melinda (David) Luna, nine nephews, Jaime (Yuko) Farrington, Jesse Farrington, Michael Simpson, Thomas (Kristen) Simpson, Jim Schimmel, Nick Mobbs, Jay Mobbs, Dillon Mobbs and Devon Mobbs; four nieces, Kayla (Andy) Porter, Abby Luna, Allie Luna and Annie Luna; two granddaughters Charlotte and Juliette Simpson; and two great nieces Aubrey and Cora. In addition to immediate family, he is survived by many members of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard G. Simpson; Father in-law, James R. Mobbs, Sr.; and niece Lindsey DeAnn Mobbs

Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio with Pastor Kristofer Butcher officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5PM until the time of service.
