Henry Atha Shreve, 94, of 2940 Glazier Rd., Guysville, OH, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1912 in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late Charles Ross and Knightie Atha Shreve. He was retired from the City of Athens Water Department and was a former Carthage Township Trustee. He was also a former employee for the Beacon School.
He is survived by a son, Carl C. Shreve; a daughter, Kathie Shreve England; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Perie Stout Shreve; 2 sisters, Mildred Moore and Osie Thorne; and 2 brothers, Harmon Shreve and Charles Shreve Jr.
Graveside serices will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at the Vanderhoof Cemetery, Coolville, OH, with Craig Holler officiating.
