Helen Irene Russell, 86, of Coolville, OH passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born Sept. 19, 1921 in Little Hocking, OH to Charles Everett and Etha Gertrude Hall Newman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Torch United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Janice Tanthorey of Nelsonville, OH, Gary Pat Russell of Coolville, OH, Diana Harley Nutter of Tucson, AZ, Ron Shelvy Russell of Portland, TX and Vicki Partain of Fayetteville, AR; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Victor Russell; 2 grandsons; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, April 5, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Seldon Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Torch Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
