Helen is survived by her three loving children, David, Rhonda (Dave) Hughes, and Karen Lax all of Athens; sister-in-law, Juanita Dudley of Corbin, Kentucky; and many very special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John; son-in-law, Don Lax; sister, Janice Bailey, and Janice’s son, Craig Copeland; and brothers and sisters-in-law who were very special to her.
