Harold Dunfee
Harold Goff Dunfee, 81, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Arbors At Marietta.
He was born Aug. 19, 1928 in Frost, OH son of the late Herman B. and Lela Brandeberry Dunfee. He was a 1945 graduate of Belpre High School, a 58 year member of the Coolville Masonic Lodge 337 F&AM, a member of the NRA, and a former Decatur Township Trustee. Harold restored John Deere Tractors and Ford Mustangs, was a heavy equipment operator and owner of Dunfee Excavating. He liked to farm and also drill wells.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Lou Brooks Dunfee; a daughter, Mary Lou Jim Hewitt of Belpre; a son, Don Diane Dunfee of Racine; 3 grandchildren, Valerie Dunfee, Daniel Dunfee and David Dunfee; sisters-in-law, Dora Brooks, Helen Brooks, Geneva Brooks and Frances Pelton; and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, George, Stanley, Dean and Paul Brooks and George Kalem; sisters-in-law, Rhea Brooks and Alda Graham.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, July 10, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH. Burial will be in the Centennial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
