Gerald L. Armstrong Jr

Middleport - Gerald L. Armstrong Jr, 54, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Middleport, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at St Mary’s Hospital in Huntington.
Born December 17, 1967 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he is the son of Gerald and LaJean Price Armstrong. He was known by his family and friends as “Jerry”. He graduated from Meigs High School where he participated in intramural sports.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Brianna Armstrong; one sister, Kim Louise Armstrong; three uncles, Rev. Gene Armstrong, Floyd and Fred Burney; five aunts, Sarah Hull, Marlyn Price, Jewel Smith, Allie Mitchell, and Floranell Burney and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Margaret Armstrong and Marjorie Price; one aunt, Kitty Armstrong; four uncles, Robert, Bobby, David Armstrong and Norman L. Price.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Miles Cemetery in Rutland, Ohio with Fred Burney officiating. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net. Services have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio
