George Hensley
George A. Hensley, 71, of Tuppers Plains, OH passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born April 5, 1937 in Long Bottom, OH son of the late George O. Hensley and Stella L. Triplett Hensley Chevalier. He was a retired Union Carpenter with Local 356, Marietta, OH, with 42 years of service, and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Linda Hensley of Tuppers Plains; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna and Max Long, Sandra and David Mills and Angela and David Delacruz all of Reedsville; 2 brothers, John and Barbara Hensley of Tuppers Plains and Henry and Beverly Hensley of Long Bottom; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Evans; and a brother, Robert Hensley.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery, Bashan, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
