Freda Violet Holsinger, 81, of Pomeroy, OH passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 25, 1926 in Pomeroy, OH daughter of the late Eber and Deborah Ann Beaver Gillilan.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Judy and Tom Buckley of Reedsville, OH, Sharon and Merl Swain of Long Bottom, OH, Georgia Ritchie of Columbus, OH, Janice and Bill Alexander of Reynoldburg, OH and Daphne Breeze of Athens, OH; 3 sons, Rusty Holsinger of Chester, OH, Philip and Michelle Holsinger of Long Bottom, OH and Randy and Sheri Holsinger of Coolville, OH; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Roy and Mary Gillilan of Chester, OH Joseph and Carol Gillilan of Canton, OH; and several special friends and neighbors at the Maples Apartment and Senior Center in Pomeroy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clarence Roberts; her 2nd husband, Russell Holsinger; and 5 brothers, Ralph, George, Francis, Wilber Wib and Jack Gillilan.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Reedsville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
