Frank (Bob) Robert Root

Frank Robert Root, 83, of Coolville, Ohio passed away Saturday March 22, 2014. He was born August 12, 1930 in Coolville, Ohio son of the late Albert and Marie Harper Root. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran and was a retired business owner of Root's Grocery in Coolville.

Frank is survived by two sons, Kevin Root and Robert (Rob) Root; three daughters Debra and Boyd ( Bud) Sidwell, Kecia and Larry Buck and Jenni Root all of Coolville; two sisters Theresa Dodd of Laurelville, Ohio and Deanna and Ronnie Workman of Coolville; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Sams Root; a brother Elwood and a grandson Jeffery.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 26, at 11:00 am at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Rev George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery where military services will be conducted. Friends may call the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
