Rutland - Faye Walker, 90, of Rutland, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport.
Born January 17, 1927 in Nallen, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Luther and Minntie Schoolcraft Bragg. Faye served as the Postmaster in Langsville for seventeen years.
Faye is survived by two sons, Forrest (Fifi) Walker and Michael (Sandy) Walker; two daughters, Ruth Walker and Alisa Kay (Joseph) Chicesi; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Walker; three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 9:00 AM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Meigs County Memory Gardens with Justin Roush and Rod Walker officiating. Arrangements are by the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net.
