REEDSVILLE—Ethel L. “Sally” Rowley, 96, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Waterview Point in Marietta, OH.
She was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Elizabeth, WV, daughter of the late Daniel Clarence and Lucy Bell Valentine. She was a retired Mail Carrier and a lifelong Baptist.
Ethel is survived by 2 sons, Steve and Linda Rowley and Jerry and Sue Rowley; 3 daughters, Gloria Wheeler, Beverly and David Wilfong and Muriel Stockburger; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Debbie Rowley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilford Rowley; son, Daniel Rowley; 2 brothers, Roy and Paul and a sister, Doris and son-in-law, Darrell Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Meigs Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
