Ernest Griffin

Long Bottom - Ernest Griffin, 97, of Long Bottom, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville.
Born November 15, 1917 in Reedsville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lola Baker Griffin. Ernest was a member of the Long Bottom United Methodist Church and loved playing music.
He is survived by two sons, Roger Griffin of Long Bottom and Earl (Connie) Griffin of Greenfield, Indiana; two daughters Debra Null of Torch and Pam (Richard) Webber of Sylvester, Georgia; four grandsons Larry Jr., Eddie, Mark and David Griffin; three granddaughters Rebecca Tarter, Pauline Griffin and Michelle Griffin and several great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June; two sons Larry Sr and Phillip and a son-in-law Joe Null.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Rev. Norman Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery in Long Bottom. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
