Elmer Emerson Kaylor, 90 years old, of Tuppers Plains, OH passed away at home on April 8, 2007.
Born Oct. 18, 1916 in Racine, OH, he was the son of the late John E. and Estella Fields Kaylor. He worked at the Republic Steel in Canton, OH and B. H. Putnam drilling in Marietta, OH. He was a WWII veteran and a life member of Post 9053 at Tuppers Plains which he helped build.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Burkhammer Kaylor, whom he married 60 years ago; and a son, Terry E. Linda Kaylor of Reedsville, OH; and several grandchildren whom he loved dearly; two great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, four sisters, Cordelia Lambert, Grace M. Kuhn, Mary Kimble and Katurah Kimble; three brothers, John M. Kaylor, Arthur E. Kaylor and Garrett Eddie Kaylor.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Coolville Cemetery where military serevices will be conducted by Post 9053.
Friends may call at the White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH, Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
