Elmer E. Crites, 96, of Reedsville, OH passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born May 20, 1912 in Birch River, WV son of the late Andrew and Sarah Rose Crites.
He is survived by 8 sons, Carroll, Larry, Allen, Jack, Leon, Denver, Robert and Don; 8 daughters, Levon, Virginia, Charlotte, Barb, Rose, Sally, Kathy and Cindy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audra; and a daughter, Loretta.
Services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery, Long Bottom, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
