Elma L. Wheaton

Elma L. Wheaton, 76, of Torch, OH passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born Aug. 17, 1937 in Normantown, WV daughter of the late Clayton and Ressie Kuhl Sholes. She graduated from Normantown High School and was a faithful member of Torch Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mariea Wheaton; 2 sons, Jeffery Wheaton and Joel Wheaton; 4 grandchildren, Brittany, Ryan, Lyssa and Autumn; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Wilda (Whitey) Bailey of Parkersburg, WV, Hilda (Jed) Smith of Washington, WV and Velma Sholes of Parkersburg, WV; a brother, Chester Sholes of Normantown, WV; a brother-in-law, Clell Marshall of Washington, WV and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wheaton; a sister, Glena Marshall; a sister-in-law, Rosalee Sholes and a brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Wilma Kuhl.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Torch Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Powers officiating. Burial will be in the Torch Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 P.M., at the White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH.
