STEWART--Elizabeth Janie McPerson, 72, of Stewart, OH, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, OH.
She was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Athens, OH, daughter of the late Sam and Helen Kinney Howell. Elizabeth enjoyed watching her grandchildren in all their sporting events, watching Mike race and she was an avid Ohio State football fan. She was a graduate of Rome-Canaan High School and she worked for Arcadia Nursing Home.
She is survived by 2 sons, Carl Jr. (Shannon McCoy) McPherson and Mike McPherson; 5 grandchildren, Zachary (Delcee) Proffit, Kyle McPherson, Kaylli (Josh) Simmons, Katie (Jeremy) Thrush and Evan McPherson; great-grandchild, Haydn; 2 brothers, Jim (Toni) Howell and Dave (Sandy) Howell; step-son, Dave McPherson; nephew, Jeff (Julie) Howell and niece, Sally Howell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tiffany McPherson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at the Stewart Cemetery in Stewart, OH.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 5-7 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
