Eileen Hall

Eileen Hall, 93, of Coolville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 8, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Logan County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Grat and Melda Brown. Eileen attended Logan County Schools, Morris Harvey College, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree, and West Virginia University receiving a Master's Degree. After raising eight children, she taugh in the public schools in Logan County, WV for over 20 years. After moving to Coolville in 1971, she taught first grade for 19 years at Barlow-Vincent Elementary in the Warren Local School District retiring when she was 76 years of age. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and traveling, especially to Branson, MO, until she was 91 years of age. She was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Joann Browning of Combs Addition, WV, Nancy John Shock of Little Rock, AR, Shirley Greene of Davin, WV, Gwen Vance of Man, WV and Pam Tom Spencer of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Danny Pat Hall of Coolville, OH and Robert Hall of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Lucille Bradbury of Davin, WV, and Mary Holbrook of Abingdon, VA; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse; a son, Richard; three brothers, John, Robert and Joe; four sons-in-law, Kenneth Adkins, Earl Browning, Jerry Greene and Larry Vance; two daughters-in-law, Louise Hinchman and Peg Hall; a great-grandson, Erik Hall; and a great-great-granddaughter, Jaci Mangus.
A special thanks to all those who made her years easier, wspecially her care taker, Velda Farney and Appalachian Community Hospice.
A celebration of Eileen's life will be held at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 11 A.M., with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will be in the Highland Memory Gardens, Godby, WV. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
