Edward D. Sheilds

Albany - Ed Shields, 59, of Albany, died Sunday, November 4, 2018.
Born November 1, 1959 in Parkersburg WV, he was the son of Donald and Janet Rockhold Shields. He was a store manager for Big Lots in Lancaster and a member of New Life Assembly of God where he served as a board member.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Tammy Shields; his parents Don and Janet Shields of Coolville; his daughter of the heart Amber Dawn Welch; two grandsons Rae and Wyatt; one brother Doug Shields of Belpre; one sister Josie (Robby) Evans of Mineral Wells; four nephews; one niece; his mother-in-law Alberta Burke of Athens; one brother-in-law, Finley (Tonya) Burke and a sister-in-law LaVonne Burke.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Pastor Phil Foster and Pastor Jim Stewart officiating.
