LITTLE HOCKING--Edith V. Ward, 81, of Little Hocking, OH, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her residence. Born March 24, 1926 in Meigs County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtie Childress Cremeans. Mrs. Ward attended the O'Neil Center, Gospel Baptist Church and was a member of the Senior Saints.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Everett and Linda Ward of Little Hocking; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Larry McGrath of Guysville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim, Cecil and Ben; and a sister, Annie.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; four brothers, George, Leonard, Sam and Roy; two sisters, Hazel and Elsie; and a grandson, Alexander.
Services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, with Rev. Jay Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m.
