Eddie Murrey
Eddie G. Murrey, 85, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.
He was born May 10, 1931 in Coolville, OH son of the late Lester and Ren Murrey. He was a member of the Vanderhoof Baptist Church and retired from the Columbus Fire Dept. with 20 years of service. He was also a retired Marine Veteran with 42 years of service and a member of the American Legion Post 15 in Parkersburg, WV.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Betty Rose Murrey; a daughter, Sandra Loucas; 2 sons, Jim Murrey and Mike Murrey; seveal grandchildren; a step-son, Roger Sams; a step-daughter, Donna Clark and a sister, Betty Vineyard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Murrey and 2 brothers, Bob and Bill Murrey.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at the Vanderhoof Baptist Church 23305 Moyis Road, Coolville, OH with Pastor Craig Holler officiating. Military services will be conducted at the church by the American Legion Post 15.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
