BELPRE—Dorsel Vineyard, 81, of Belpre, OH, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at Wyngate Senior Living in Parkersburg, WV.
He was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Reedsville, OH, son of the late Roy and Catherine Vineyard. He was a member of the National Guard and Gospel Baptist Church in Torch, OH. He also liked to fish and was avid in woodworking.
Dorsel is survived by his wife, Betty (Murrey) Vineyard; 3 daughters, Teresa and Sherman Summerfield of Belpre; Susanne and Trent Spears of Coolville and Crystal and Brian Vineyard-Fluharty of China Grove, N.C.; a son, Wayne Vineyard of Argillite, KY; a sister, Maxine and John Humphrey; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from noon until time of service.
